Founder and Member Manager: Terry R. Norton, RN, CEO
Terry is a Registered Nurse with many years of experience as a medical professional. She graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with an Associate Degree in Nursing in 1973. She has an extensive background in hospital nursing along with 18 years of experience as a clinical Supervisor and Office Manager. Terry began credentialing in 2004 and worked from her home office doing physician credentialing for a local billing company. Her involvement in credentialing as a former Office Manager of a busy surgical group practice, along with her close association with a billing and consulting practice has given her invaluable knowledge of the credentialing and insurance enterprise. She enjoys reading and spends much of her time keeping abreast of the ever changing nuances of insurance payor credentialing. Member: Megan N. Wilkins, COO
Megan joined Bluegrass Credentialing & Consulting, LLC in the spring of 2008 and became a partner and co-owner of the LLC in December 2008. Megan has obtained extensive knowledge of multi-state credentialing for an array of medical providers, facilities, labs and hospital groups. She was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2013 and is currently an active Credentialing Consultant. As COO, Megan provides day-to-day oversight of Bluegrass Credentialing's operations and leads a three-member leadership team responsible for training new hires, marketing for new and current business as well as supervisory/ management roles. Prior to joining our team, she served as a workers compensation adjuster in the insurance field in Florida and Kentucky for over 7 years. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky. Megan has a passion for helping and speaking to those touched by cancer along with participating in Relay for Life events. Member: Brittainy N. Frazier, CFO
Brittainy joined the BCCLLC team in 2008 as an administrative assistant. She has a background in Early Childhood Development and a strong administrative and customer service history in the banking industry. Brittainy has gained invaluable knowledge in the financial and administrative aspect of the credentialing business during her employment at Bluegrass Credentialing. She became a partner and co-owner of the LLC in 2009 and in 2013, she was appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Among her many duties, Brittainy is responsible for Accounts Payable and Receivable, Records Management, Inventory Management, Expense Reduction and Office Organization and Administration. Brittainy enjoys spending time with her husband Chris and her two daughters during her leisure time. Credentialing Consultant/Marketing Manager: Amy W. Cooper
Amy has been with Bluegrass Credentialing & Consulting since 2008, and has over 15 years of experience in business development, marketing and customer relations. She worked for Blue Cross and Blue Shield for 6 years serving in provider relations, medical reviews and marketing. As Credentialing Consultant/Marketing Manager, she plays an invaluable role in the growth of Bluegrass Credentialing. She majored in Art History at the University of Kentucky, and enjoys hiking, camping, and outdoor sports and loves being a busy wife and soccer mom. Her teenage son is a recent cancer survivor. Credentialing Consultant/Training Manager: Teresa A. Whiteley
Teresa has been with Bluegrass Credentialing and Consulting since 2013. Prior to joining Bluegrass she acquired over six years of medical office experience in a rural health, primary care setting where she managed front office operations. This experience has been an invaluable asset in her role as Credentialing Consultant/Training Supervisor.
